STATELINE REGION — Growing indications point to some respectable, if not healthy, rainfall arriving Friday, Friday night, and potentially into Saturday across the Stateline region, including Rockford, Madison, Rochester, and Dubuque. This comes as the area officially runs less than an inch below normal in monthly rainfall, with just 0.18 inches having fallen since July 6. NOAA’s Weather Prediction Center has placed the entire region in a Slight Risk for excessive rainfall Friday, a designation described as somewhat rare at this distance in time.
