EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Animal Services is asking for the public’s help after a dog with a severe jaw injury was found inside a dumpster early Saturday in west Eugene.
On Saturday, July 25, shortly before 3 a.m., Eugene Police responded to a report of a dog found inside a dumpster in the 1400 block of Oak Patch Road, according to Eugene Animal Services. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinary clinic, but “due to the extent of the injury, he was humanely euthanized,” the agency said.
