A nationwide ground stop of American Airlines flights Tuesday evening delayed two of the three arriving flights at Erie International Airport.
The FAA issued the ground stop around 6:30 Tuesday evening after the airline experienced a system-wide outage.

American Airlines posted a statement on social media saying in part: “a technology issue briefly impacted connectivity for some of our systems on Tuesday evening. Systems are coming back online now, and flights are departing again.”
