New Grand Rapids boutique offers space to ‘be enchanted by beauty’

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A new boutique in Grand Rapids’ East Hills neighborhood has a lofty goal: to delight and enchant those who walk through its door.

Wisteria and Sunshine is located at 949 Cherry St. SE near Lake Drive SE. The store is full of greenery and drenched in color, with chandeliers and 14-foot ceilings.

“I just really want this place to be a space where people can enjoy in the delight of shopping, but also just be enchanted by beauty, whether it’s the beauty of plants or the beauty of goods that are imported from all over,” owner Naomi Stout told News 8. “Even if you’re not buying and you’re just walking around and you just need a little reprieve, I just want people to remember that shopping in person is a lovely experience. It’s a delight.”

On the shelves, you’ll find artfully arranged displays of candles, jewelry, greeting cards, porcelain dishes, recipe books, home decor, clothing and more. Stout highlighted the selection of handbags from Italy and the “tulipieres,” a special type of vase from the Netherlands. The store will also function as an art gallery, with local and fine art for sale…
