LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Drones were used to find a motorcyclist who went into a central Pennsylvania field in an attempt to evade pursuing state Troopers during a chase last week.
More than a dozen charges, including a felony count of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, were filed against 36-year-old Gregory Carter after Friday’s chase throughout Sadsbury Township in Lancaster County, according to court documents.
Pennsylvania State Police spotted Carter, who was riding a 2012 KTM motorcycle, leaving the Gap Truck Stop at a high rate of speed around 3 a.m., the charging Trooper said in an affidavit. He was going above 80mph on a 45mph road.
