PARADISE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The coroner was called to the scene Wednesday afternoon after a car went into a lake near Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County.
Emergency crews were dispatched to Paradise Township late Wednesday afternoon after the submerged vehicle was discovered.
One person was rescued and taken to a hospital, while crews spent hours searching the water for a second person, officials said.
