St. John’s has expressed interest in hiring Louisville assistant coach Peyton Siva, per Adam Zagoria of Forbes and NJ.com.

St. John’s has an opening on its coaching staff after assistant Greg Youncofski left for Xavier this offseason. Associate head coach Steve Masiello will remain on staff and become the program’s new general manager, per Zagoria. Masiello replaces Tom Ostrom, who served as interim general manager before opting not to take the position full-time.
Siva is entering his third season on Pat Kelsey’s staff at Louisville. He served as UofL’s director of player development and basketball alumni relations during the 2024-25 season before being promoted to a full-time assistant ahead of the 2025-26 season…
