ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man involved in a nationwide jewelry theft ring that targeted a business in Greece has been sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
Harold Ramirez Cagua, 42, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for helping coordinate a series of burglaries at mall-based jewelry stores and kiosks across the country, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut.

Prosecutors said Ramirez Cagua and his co-conspirators burglarized a jewelry establishment in Greece on Sept. 20, 2023. Authorities did not identify the business or specify how much merchandise was stolen during the local burglary.
