The search for Boise State University’s next chief academic leader is underway.
“Our next steps are to finalize the search timeline, appoint the committee, and begin recruitment, with the goal of naming a provost by the end of 2026 or early in the Spring 2027 semester,” Boise State leadership said in an email to the campus community Wednesday.
The hire — for the provost and vice president for academic affairs — will provide new president David Hahn with one of his first chances to make an imprint at Boise State.
