CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The cold front that brought severe thunderstorms to the Carolinas on Tuesday has ushered in a significantly less-humid air mass.
Pleasant summertime weather
Humidity levels dropped throughout the day on Wednesday, and that drier air allowed temperatures to drop into the 60s Thursday morning. While highs will bounce back into the upper 80s by Thursday afternoon, the lack of mugginess will result in “comfortably warm” conditions.
Dry weather will continue to finish the workweek. Lows will dip into the 60s again Friday morning, with near-average highs around 90 degrees Friday afternoon.

An unsettled pattern will return this weekend as humidity levels climb.
