KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UT Medical Center has broken ground on a new child care center designed to serve nurses, doctors and other staff who work 12-hour shifts and non-traditional schedules.
The center is intended to address the challenge health care workers face in finding reliable child care outside standard business hours. The facility will operate with earlier and later hours than a typical 9-to-5 child care provider.
