LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – One person is dead after two cars crashed into the Susquehanna River on Thursday morning.
The Manor Township Police Department said officers initially responded to the scene at 2:25 a.m. and found two vehicles submerged in the Susquehanna River near Water Street and Charlestown Road in Washington Boro.
Investigators believe that both vehicles were traveling westbound on Charlestown Road at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. The police department is attempting to identify and speak with three individuals captured on surveillance video in the area…
