WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are seeking help from the community to identify the suspects accused of trying to rob two victims at a bus stop in Northeast before fleeing on e-bikes.
Details are limited; however, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) released video surveillance showing the suspects. In several clips, they appeared to be double-riding Lime e-bikes.
On Sunday, June 7, around 3:05 p.m., two victims were standing at a bus stop in the 1400 block of H, NE when multiple suspects approached the victims and demanded property.
Police said instead of handing over any belongings, the victims fled on foot to a nearby store, where they called the police. The suspects did not steal any property and fled before responding officers arrived…
