SALINE TWP., MI — A public comment period is open on a draft environmental permit that would allow treated wastewater to be discharged from The Barn, a hyperscale data center for OpenAI and Oracle under construction in Saline Township, into the Saline River.
State water resources officials with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, or EGLE, will receive comments through Aug. 24 on data center developer Related Digital’s proposed permit for the wastewater treatment plant discharge.
