This one-hour documentary tells the incredible journey of O’dell Owens. Born in Cincinnati’s West End, O’dell overcame poverty and personal tragedy. Told he was not college material, O’dell earned advanced degrees from Yale and Harvard and became a medical pioneer in the field of In Vitro Fertilization. Interviews with family, friends and colleagues provide intimate accounts of how this extraordinary life unfolded. This documentary celebrates the power of perseverance and the joy of community.
