A small piece of land along Highway 20 is preparing for a distinctly modern suburban use: coffee without the coffee shop.
A commercial-development permit has been issued for a new 7 Brew at 5942 Cumming Highway in Sugar Hill. The drive-through beverage stand will occupy less than an acre near existing restaurants and shopping, adding another recognizable name to one of northern Gwinnett’s busiest commercial corridors.
No opening date has been announced. But the project is far enough along to be more than a proposal. Sugar Hill approved the property’s annexation and rezoning last fall, and Gwinnett County issued the commercial-development permit July 14.
