ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A county fair, a flower festival, live theatre and a fundraiser concert are among the events taking place across southwest Virginia this weekend.
New River Valley Fair
The New River Valley Fair runs through Saturday at Fairgrounds Circle in Dublin. The fair features carnival rides, a petting zoo, fair food and racing pigs.
Gate admission is $7 for ages 12 and older, $3 for children ages 7 to 11, and free for children 6 and under. Ride tickets are sold separately.
Pickin’Fest in Floyd
Crooked Mountain Farm and Campground is hosting Pickin’Fest in Floyd on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event features flowers, live music, vendors and food trucks.
Tickets are approximately $13 for adults and approximately $7 for children.
