STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Eleven students from St. Peter’s Boys High School’s Class of 2026 in New Brighton have chosen similar paths after graduation, committing to military service through several branches of the U.S. armed forces and ROTC programs.
After participating in the school’s Navy Sea Cadet program, launched last year by former Marine Daniel Cocozello, now a religion and history teacher, many of the students developed an interest in military service, according to Principal Michael Cosentino.
