Amarillo’s Golden Corral Has Been Shut Down

Amarillo has had a problem with restaurants and businesses shutting down on their own. The economy is rough; people aren’t spending money the way they used to, and luxuries such as eating out, buying new clothes, or tangible items have dried up.

I saw an article from a poll that was taken recently that said over half of Americans couldn’t even cover a $500 emergency expense should it come up. So it’s not surprising when businesses close their doors these days.

Golden Corral Doors Are Locked

So when people do decide to spend their money, they want the best bang for their buck. For some, that means being able to eat as much food and have as many options as possible when they go out. That typically means looking for a buffet or place that serves generous portions.

Amarillo only has a few of those types of places, and with the recent closing of Route 66 Family Buffet, that means the only one left that serves that type of comfort food is Golden Corral. Well, for the time being at least, we have zero places serving up that style of buffet. Golden Corral has been shut down.
