Fearful of losing an ongoing custody battle, a Baton Rouge woman pressured her new boyfriend into killing the father of her children, texts between the accomplices show.
The final exchange of messages between 29-year-old Hope Jackson and her boyfriend, 32-year-old Riddick Franklin, came only minutes before Franklin allegedly “executed” Jackson’s former partner, according to their arrest records.
