DFW Uber passenger arrested after assaulting Waco officers at Baylor University area Chick-fil-A, police say

WACO, Texas (KWTX) A Dallas-Fort Worth area Uber passenger heading to a local rehabilitation facility was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly assaulting three Waco police officers and spitting at several others outside a Baylor-area Chick-fil-A.

Jacob Wing, 29, was booked into the McLennan County Jail on July 28, 2026. He faces multiple charges, including three counts of assault on a peace officer, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.

According to a Waco Police Department arrest warrant affidavit, officers responded to a civil disturbance at the Chick-fil-A located at 901 S. 7th Street near the Baylor University campus. An Uber driver told police he picked up an intoxicated Wing in the DFW metroplex to drive him to Waco, but Wing refused to exit his Ford Explorer upon arrival.
