OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — Sunbeam Family Services is looking to recruit 15 new foster families as it works to meet the ongoing need for safe, stable homes for children in Oklahoma’s foster care system.
The Oklahoma City-based nonprofit said children enter foster care throughout the year and need caring adults who can provide consistency, stability and support during difficult transitions.
“One caring adult can change the trajectory of a child’s life,” said Destyni Trayler, Sunbeam’s senior program director. “Children of all ages deserve the opportunity to experience safety, stability and belonging within a nurturing family.”…
