A Texas school bus driver has been fired after a pre-kindergarten student was left alone on a hot school bus at the end of a morning route, according to WFAA.
An employee discovered the child after the bus returned to the Durham School Services transportation lot, Crowley ISD and Durham School Services said. The student was immediately evaluated by a medic and reunited with their family.
School officials said the driver failed to complete the required child-check procedure before leaving the bus. Durham School Services said the driver was fired following the incident…
