DENVER (KDVR) — The woman detained by ICE agents while attempting to board an airplane at Denver International Airport on July 20 has been released from the GEO Center in Aurora.

Her release followed an immigration judge’s order after a custody hearing on Tuesday, as she was ordered to be released on a $3,000 bond, while a federal lawsuit, according to Chantal Rojas’ attorneys, challenges the legality of her arrest and detention.
Video captured by Noticias Univision Colorado showed Chantal Rojas around 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, walking with multiple people, including a man who appeared to be an employee at the ICE facility in Aurora, towards the gate.
The man opened the gate, as Rojas, who wiped away tears with a smile on her face, was greeted by a group of people who gave multiple long hugs, over a week after she was detained at the airport…
