LARCHWOOD—The Dollar General store south of Larchwood received an estimated $50,000 damage when it was struck by a 2008 Subaru Forester about 12:25 p.m. Thursday, July 23.
Eighty-six-year-old Carol June Hinsch was pulling into a parking space when she accelerated forward, causing her vehicle to jump the curb and strike the front of the store, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
