Fireworks will light up the sky above Coney Island Beach beginning Friday night as part of a series of summer displays.
The first show is scheduled for Friday, July 31, from 9:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. at Coney Island Beach. The event is sponsored by the Alliance for Coney Island, with a rain date scheduled for Sept. 4.
Additional fireworks displays are planned for every Friday in August, including Aug. 7 Aug. 14, Aug. 21 and Aug. 28. Each show is scheduled to run from 9:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m…
