Still Nice Friday – More Humid Conditions and Showers/Storms Return this Weekend

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Another comfortable night and seasonable day, ahead for Friday to close out July. Turning more humid to kick off the weekend and start August, with showers and storms returning. Friday brings more sunshine and still low humidity, with afternoon highs a little higher, but seasonable, ranging from the mid 80s to around 90.

Weekend and 7 Day Forecast

This weekend, high pressure will move off the coast and as the next storm system approaches, it will turn more humid with increasing clouds. Saturday is largely dry with highs in the mid 80s to around 90. Some showers may arrive late at night. At this time, Sunday is trending the wetter of the weekend days, with more widespread showers and a few storms. General rain amounts through Sunday a half to one inch. Any storm can produce locally higher rain amounts. This will be a slow-moving system and more unsettled weather with needed rain opportunities will continue into next week.
