MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The fight against food insecurity took center stage in Montgomery on Thursday with the official grand opening of Manna House, a brand-new facility designed to help local organizations feed those in need.
Located off Court Street, Manna House will serve as a centralized hub for River Region non-profits, churches, and community organizations to prepare and distribute meals. The facility’s primary goal is to prepare at least 1,000 meals a day.
