SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Thursday afternoon was mostly sunny and seasonably hot with high temperatures in the middle to upper 90s.
Slightly drier air flowing in helped conditions not feel as hot as they did earlier in the week.
Friday morning will start out mostly sunny and warm. Low temperatures in the lower to middle 70s are expected for most of the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. A few inland locations may cool into the upper 60s.
Temperatures are forecast to warm up into the mid 90s for most locations. Humidity levels will again begin to increase, which will lead to heat index values of 100°-105°F. A few isolated showers and storms are possible in the afternoon.
Similar conditions to Friday are expected on Saturday. Forecast high temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s. A few afternoon showers and storms are again possible…
