WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Several cities in Williamson County are coordinating a roughly month-long chlorine rinse in August aimed at maintaining water quality throughout their drinking water systems.
For most of the year, many utilities use chloramine, a disinfectant made by combining chlorine and ammonia.
