The Great Allentown Fair will host its third annual Scrapple Eating Contest on Sept. 5, challenging competitors to consume as much of the Pennsylvania Dutch delicacy as possible in two minutes.
The competition begins at 3 p.m. at the Farmerama Theater during the fair, which runs Sept. 2-7. Stoltzfus Meats is sponsoring the event, with support from Lehigh Valley Public Media.
Contestants who vomit during the timed competition will be immediately disqualified.
