Woman who suffered brain injury in crash gets job as an engineer with defense contractor

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Doctors once questioned whether Farrah Fox would ever wake up. Later, a neuropsychologist told her she might never be able to return to college or pursue an engineering degree.

Now, the Delray Beach woman is preparing to begin work as a mechanical engineer for one of the nation’s largest defense contractors.

Fox, 26, is scheduled to start a job at Northrop Grumman’s Melbourne facility in about two weeks, reaching another milestone in a recovery that began after a devastating crash eight years ago…
