GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Education Lottery said a grandma in the Upstate surprised her family by winning $500,000 on a lottery ticket.
Officials said she won the half-a-million dollars on a 10 dollar ticket purchased at the Buncombe Mini Stop on Old Buncombe Road in Greenville.
“They were happy for me,” the grandmother, who does not wish to be identified, told lottery officials. “They said I deserved it.”…
