Sean Brock’s Audrey to Permanently Close in August

Audrey, the Appalachian-inspired East Nashville restaurant originally created by chef Sean Brock, will permanently close following its final service on August 16th, reports Nashville Scene. More Eat & Drink News

The restaurant opened in 2021 at 809 Meridian Street and was named after Brock’s maternal grandmother, whose cooking, gardening and Appalachian traditions influenced his career. Audrey became known for reimagining Southern and Appalachian cuisine through seasonal ingredients, modern techniques and elaborate presentations.

Brock stepped away from the restaurant and ended his financial involvement in the business in 2025. Southall Farm & Inn founder Paul Mishkin, Audrey’s majority owner, then took over operations and named Sam Jett executive chef…
