SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco residents near an underground electrical vault fire in the Upper Haight neighborhood were temporarily ordered to shelter in place Friday morning, according to officials.
Firefighters responded at 5:23 a.m. to the area of Haight and Cole streets where the vault fire was burning. PG&E also responded and assisted with crews in making the vault safe for extinguishment, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
