As community need continues to outpace available shelter space, Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is urging community members to open their homes to these deserving pets. Lollypop Farm is currently providing care to nearly 100 dogs, including dozens who are ready to find their adoptive or foster homes, while many more dogs in the region continue to await an opportunity for space and support. By choosing to open your home to a loving dog, you can help create the space needed to welcome others and provide the resources they need.

Given its current animal population, Lollypop Farm is delaying non-emergency dog intakes until November due to limited space and resources. At the same time, the need for services continues to grow across the region. Lollypop Farm is not alone in facing these challenges, as shelters, rescue partners, and animal welfare organizations throughout the community are experiencing increased demand while operating with limited capacity and fewer placement options…
