An investigation into a violent kidnapping that ended with the shooting deaths of both the victim and the suspect in San Bernardino County late Wednesday night has expanded into Orange County.
“The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department just served a warrant on Crossover, near Benchmark, related to a homicide that occurred earlier today in Chino Hills,” the Irvine Police Department posted on Instagram Thursday afternoon.
Police did not provide further details about what prompted the warrant in the residential neighborhood near Irvine’s Great Park, but said public safety resources would remain at the home during the investigation…
