OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man will serve 10 years in prison followed by three years of supervised release following his conviction for illegal possession of a firearm and witness tampering, the Department of Justice said in a statement Friday.
Isael Antonio Ortiz, 27, was arrested in October 2024 on suspicion of involvement in an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Oklahoma City police.
Per the DOJ, Ortiz attempted to influence a witness while in custody, seeking to have the witness falsely claim ownership of the firearm and state that Ortiz “did not know it was present in the residence.”…
