Weekend highway maintenance planned in half a dozen Northeast Wisconsin counties

(WLUK) — Construction will take place over the weekend on many Northeast Wisconsin highways, including those in Brown County, Fond du Lac County, Marinette County, Outagamie County, Sheboygan County, and Winnebago County.

The following work is on the docket according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation:

Brown County

  • Deck sealing will take place on EB and WB WIS 172 between Webster Avenue and I-43 on Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7 from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. Various lanes will be closed during deck sealing.
  • Deck sealing will take place on NB I-43 to WB WIS 172 system ramp on Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7 from 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Various lanes will be closed during deck sealing.

Fond du Lac County

  • Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on SB US 151 between River Road and County D from 6 a.m., Monday, August 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, August 7. A continuous lane closure will be used during repairs.
  • Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB US 151 between WIS 175 and I-41 from 6 a.m., Monday, August 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, August 6. A continuous lane closure will be used during repairs.

Marinette County

  • Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on SB I-41 at County Y on Monday, August 3 to Thursday, August 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Various lane closures will be used during repairs.

Outagamie County

  • Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on NB and SB I-41 between WIS 96 and the south county line on Thursday, August 6 from 7:30 to midnight. Various lanes closures will be used during repairs.

Sheboygan County

  • Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on SB I-43 between the Pigeon River and WIS 28 on Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Various lane closures will be used during repairs.

Winnebago County

  • Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on WB US 10 between WIS 47 and County AP on Monday, August 3 to Thursday, August 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A lane closure will be used during repairs.

As with any construction, all this work is weather dependent and subject to change. Rain is expected into Saturday morning, but after that it’s expected to stay dry till next week Friday.
