KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A man is in jail Friday after leading Lawrence police on a chase in a stolen truck and hitting a patrol car.
Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night, a white Chevy Silverado nearly hit a Lawrence patrol car near 6th and Wisconsin, Lawrence Police said in a post on Facebook. When the officer tried to pull the truck over, the driver took off west down 6th street, reaching speeds of 70 miles per hour, officials said.
