ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – The final day of July is upon us, with summer warmth and sunshine expected to greet many areas as we welcome in August.
While the warmth has been a welcoming sign for many, it is coming with some heat advisories into the weekend. Many areas of Southcentral have seen the first heat advisory of the year being issued, as temperatures into the weekend could top out at 82 degrees.
While rain looks to hold off for many until next week, we’ll keep some wet weather for both the Aleutians and Southeast.
