MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – St. Vincent de Paul’s thrift store on Williamson Street reopened Friday, more than a week after closing following the deadly police shooting of Corey Ruiz outside the store.
The store initially closed the day of the shooting to support employees who witnessed the incident.
“We had employees who witnessed the event. Everyone in this space heard it and immediately went to the windows to see what was going on. We wanted to take care of our employees.
