A former middle school in midtown Kansas City that was later redeveloped for commercial use is expected to become a school once again.
Alyson Stewart, director of development for Académie Lafayette, confirmed that the charter school has signed a purchase agreement for The Offices at Park 39, off East 39th Street and Warwick Boulevard, to turn the property into a new campus for its middle and high schools.
The school is in the due diligence period and aims to close on the property soon ahead of renovation work to turn office space back into classrooms for the 2027-28 school year…
