DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested after reportedly staying in an unoccupied home near Roxborough and blocking an evacuation route used during the Penley Fire, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on X.
Law enforcement and first responders were working on the Penley Fire when they received reports that a man was “making himself at home” in a nearby, unoccupied house close to Roxborough that was on the market.

The owner of the home received alerts from his security camera system and called 911.
