CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – To meet the demand for movie-goers eager to catch the premiere of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” Phoenix Theatres offered maximum showings, with 36 hours of the movie playing back to back at Governor’s Square Mall.
But Spidey-fan Wesley Hall saw something different: an opportunity to watch the movie for 36 hours straight.
Supported by his co-workers at 5 Star Media Group, Hall watched “Spider-Man” from noon Thursday through 12:30 a.m. Saturday, for 12 back-to-back showings.
In hour 12, he told Kyle King of Q108 that he was “mainly going on Mountain Dew and some popcorn, but mainly Mountain Dew.” Before his ninth showing, he admitted to Q108’s Tiffany Hill that he had leaned against the lobby wall and caught a few Z’s before the eighth showing…
