CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Wednesday, Aug. 5, is the first day of school for students in Clarksville-Montgomery County, and as students head back to the classroom, the Clarksville Police Department is reminding drivers to prepare for increased traffic.
“Many students will be walking or biking to school, so drivers are urged to stay alert, obey school zone speed limits and watch carefully for children crossing streets,” CPD said in a release.
