A man was sentenced for brutal crimes against a 93-year-old in Orange County. Due to the heinous nature of the crime, the state of Florida sought the death penalty in the case.
State Attorney Monique Worrell recently announced that 58-year-old Javier Rosado Martinez was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the brutal murder and attempted rape of 93-year-old Dolores Padilla-Marrero in 2022.
Following the jury’s recommendation, the court sentenced Rosado Martinez to life in prison without the possibility of paraole on the murder conviction.
