Eagle Rock—A man was killed early this morning after his vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree police said.
The victim, described as a male Latino in his 40s, was driving eastbound on Colorado Boulevard when he apparently lost control and crashed, said LAPD spokesman Jeff Lee. The crash on Colorado near Linda Rosa Avenue was reported at 3:36 am.
