The audit, conducted by consultant UHY Advisors Mid-Atlantic on behalf of Metro’s Office of Internal Audit, evaluated the system that sets assessed values for all 281,292 parcels across Davidson County. It found a key safeguard missing: no one independently verifies the data entered into CAMA, the Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal software that drives property valuations countywide.
