NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the West Lake Forest neighborhood on Friday, July 31.
According to the police, a woman was walking in the 6700 block of Tara Lane after noon when she was approached by three unknown men that were reportedly trying to take her fanny pack.
The men allegedly “wrestled” the woman down but could not take possession of the fanny pack, the NOPD reported.
